Inspired Abstract Art
Max is an emerging Australian abstract artist and designer based on the Gold Coast. An entirely self taught artist, he has learned and honed his craft through adoration and private study of the great masters such as Cy Twombly and his incredible use of raw form and scale, the stunning and vibrant palettes of Basquiat and the ethereal beauty of Rothko, among many others.
Max is a lifelong bookworm and lover of architecture and aesthetic design, constantly striving to bring beauty into the world. When he’s not in the studio painting (and listening to 70s rock at a near deafening volume) he can most often be found with a book and a glass of wine, in the kitchen cooking, or out in the paddocks with Roy, his Blue Heeler x Staffy, and his ever growing herd of sheep and goats.
