Max Langborne is an Australian abstract artist working on the Gold Coast. Entirely self taught, his work strives to evoke emotion and reflection, asking the viewer to pause and look into themselves as much as his paintings.

His work departs from formalism, instead embracing deeply human, instinctive, markings and free flowing movement with considered use of colour to create an atmosphere of curiosity.
