This isn’t the first painting on this canvas. Many years ago, this canvas was the site of my fifth ever painting. But all along something felt off. I had the lingering sense that the first painting on this canvas wasn’t supposed to be the last. There was a second story lying beneath that first layer of paint. It’s taken me years to unearth that second story, but those years of waiting and toiling now hang before you. After years of scratching and clawing for the light of day, this piece is finally Inside Out
