I have many artistic inspirations, but none are greater than Cy Twombly. His influence on my works is perhaps never greater than in this piece. I certainly hope you can see that, at least, because I imagined this is what I would have come back to my studio and painted if I’d had the privilege of meeting Cy for an espresso near his apartment in Rome.
